Water Yin - A 5 week course
A 5 part Yin Yoga series that explores, explains and shares practices to find balance and attune yourself to the Water element (connected with Winter in TCM.) Through the practice of Yin Yoga postures that stimulate the Kidney and Bladder meridian lines, Zen meditation, visualisations, breath-work and points for reflection this course enables you to understand and implement how Yin can be practiced in harmony with the seasons to restore balance and vitality.
Yin Yoga is a floor based practice suitable for all, where postures are supported by props and held for longer periods of time (usually between 5-10 minutes). Focus is placed on how chi flows through the body along specific meridian paths, and breath-work techniques and meditations practices enrich the students’ ability to re-centre and self regulate.
This 5 week series can be joined live on zoom 13:30-14:30 Mondays from 5th Jan 2026 weekly, until 2nd Feb. Can’t make the session live? No problem. A video link will be shared with all students each week, so that you can practice on demand as much as you like for up to 30 days after the course finishes.
