New Year's day retreat
Join Jessica for an afternoon retreat at a beautiful studio in Camden and immerse yourself in breath-work, zen meditations, vinyasa flow and yin yoga to celebrate the deep Winter and the New Year.

Understand nada yoga - yoga of sound and the philosophical origins of intention setting. We will focus on functional anatomy of the shoulder and upper spine, heart opening postures through a nourishing yang yin practice, with TPR release, and the ancient meditational techniques of pranayama, drishti and mantra.
Jessica weaves together wisdom from the ancient lineage of yoga, with modern day evidence-based neuroscience and anatomy to educate students in their own unique tool kit for self regulation, vitality and connection. Includes self reflection questions and nourishing food and warm drinks.
Jessica is a truly accessible and approachable teacher with 17 years experience, passionate about her subject and empowering her students to feel good in their body and aligned soul and mind. Email her in advance if you are pregnant or working with any injuries or conditions so advise can be given before the day. All props and mats provided.
SCHEDULE
14:00-14:30 - Welcome, introduction to the retreat theme
14:30-15:45: Yang yoga (nourishing movement, mantra, dao flow, TPR release)
15:45-16:15: (Break) Ayurvedic tea, dhal and spiced biscuits (vegan) with journalling questions offered for self reflection
16:15-17:00 Yin, pranayama, meditation, mantra
