About jessica

Jessica first started yoga in her late teens. Originally drawn to the esoteric aspects of the practice, Jessica trained with teachers in India, on traditional Hatha, Tantra, Ashtanga vinyasa and meditation in early 2000s.

As her teaching in London and the yoga industry evolved, Jessica focussed on training with the pioneering evidence-based wellbeing researchers and teachers. Jessica’s approach now combines the philosophical and traditional with a modern, anatomically informed approach.

Jessica has trained in somatic movement with Donna Farhi, with Jon Kabat Zinn in MBSR, Yoga Medicine with TiffanyCruikshank and Vinyasa Yoga with Jason Crandell. Jessica has trained with Tiffany Cruikshank, Bernie Clark and Paul and Suzee Grilley in Yin Yoga, and Pregnancy and Post natal yoga with Yoga London, and anatomy with Andrew McGonigle and Matthew Huy.

Jessica founded State Yoga in 2020, which thrived for 3.5 years and built a reputation for incredible tuition, a beautiful space and a strong community. It has recently been forced to close due to legalities around lease provision. We are looking for a new venue. Prior to this Jessica was the lead yoga teacher for 3tribes, writing set sequences, interviewing and training teachers for their three studios and writing and leading their first teacher trainings which her graduate students now teach. Jessica has taught at internationally renowned retreat venues, and London’s finest studios, including Triyoga and Yogaloft, for whom she also designed and directed a yoga training. Jessica has led meditation, mindfulness and wellbeing programs for London’s top investment banks as ‘Mindfulness Expert’, including an international seminar program on mindfulness that screened to over 1000 employees in 14 countries. Jessica wrote and recorded a meditation album for Calm Collective, available now on Spotify ‘Mindful Self Care’. Jessica is currently teaching in Highgate at her own studio, running two 200 hour yoga trainings a year, and writing an advanced sequencing course for teachers, and a Yin Yoga Teachers course with Cheryl Mokhtari on Yin Yoga, launching 2025. She continues to work with one to one clients.
