Metal Yin - A 5 week course
Starts Monday 10th November until 8th December, 13:30-14:30. Join live on zoom or receive on demand videos to practice in your own time. This is a 5 part Yin Yoga series that explores, explains and shares practices to find balance and attune yourself to the Metal element (connected with late Autumn) from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
We will practice 5 unique Yin Yoga sequences, with floor based postures that release the chest, arms and upper spine. This series dives deeply into breath-work, and is supported with Zen meditation techniques, and themes for reflection specific to this element and time of year.
Yin Yoga is a floor based practice suitable for all, where postures are supported by props and held for longer periods of time (usually between 5-10 minutes). Focus is placed on how chi flows through the body along specific meridian paths, and breath-work techniques and meditations practices enrich the students’ ability to re-centre and self regulate.
You can practice with the on demand videos as much as you like for up to 30 days after the course finishes.
